26 Now while[a] they were eating Jesus took bread and, after[b] giving thanks, he broke it,[c] and giving it[d] to the disciples, he said, “Take, eat, this is my body.” 27 And after[e] taking the cup and giving thanks he gave it[f] to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you, 28 for this is my blood of the covenant which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
